    Material Cutting

    Before material cutting, you need to ensure that you have the mold of cutting for each part of these shoes. And the last shape tooling for each size. Workers put cutting mold upon a leather material, and use the machine to press and cutting into the shape needed like in the above video. The video just shows one part of the shoe's upper, after finish this part, the worker will take another cutting mold to cut another part of the shoe's upper. Now you got each part of the shoe's upper.

     

    While for handmade leather shoes, workers drawing patterns onto pieces, and use a knife to cut the leather material into pieces by hand. They don't use machines to cut the material. Usually, this method will be used for new sample development in the shoe-making factory.

    Stitching and Heating

    After material cutting, the parts will be conveyed to the stitching department, and the workers will stitch the pieces together. If there have many pieces, there will have different workers to stitching different parts. After finishing the stitching, the upper part will be given to the next group of workers. The workers use small nails to keep the insole board under the last. And put the upper together inside the oven.
